This month’s user case brings us to Australia, where Denote, based in Sydney, brought to life the captivating Bridge View Cinema.

The customer’s initial request centered around entertainment, encompassing not only a top-tier audiovisual system but also a karaoke setup and a golf simulator, all of which Denote successfully delivered.

Despite facing challenges such as nearly square dimensions and proximity to noisy AC systems, Denote tackled these issues by devising tailor-made acoustic solutions, incorporating bass traps, reflection panels, absorbers, and diffusers into the room.

The home theater project incorporates a Sony 4K laser projector and a Lumagen video processor responsible for video switching and offering nonlinear stretch to fill the Stewart 160-inch 2.40:1 screen. Meridian’s audio system features a 9.4.4 Dolby Atmos configuration utilizing DSP520.2 digital/active speakers. The front LCR comprises nine of these speakers arranged in a unique ‘High Power Array’ formation, marking a first in Australia, according to Denote. Subwoofers, 15-inch passive models from Elementi Audio, are driven by an Elementi amplifier as well. All speakers and subs are securely attached to the structure using IsoMax isolation mounts, with speakers precisely mounted on axis and directed toward the primary listening area.

This 9.4.4 system is powered by a StormAudio ISP Core 16, calibrated for multiple listening scenarios, all selectable from the Savant remote control.

“StormAudio processors produce amazing audio so simply. The sound is incredibly immersive with amazing clarity and focus in all primary seats. We have now implemented Dirac ART in this system and the results have been outstanding. We love the interface and setup StormAudio provides, it allows for great results with minimal interaction, but still has the ability to be tweaked and tailored to the highest levels of performance. “

Due to the homeowner’s frequent exposure to government-funded cyberattacks in his professional role, Denote additionally crafted an impressive equipment room. This space accommodates the home network server and other control systems essential for maintaining the seamless operation of the house.

All these incredible installations by Denote have surpassed the initial expectations of its customers, who have been delighted with the final results.
