ONE ROOM, MULTIPLE USES
Multiple Layouts : When designing a Home Cinema, providing both the best acoustical performance and the best listening experience must be considered. Listening experiences will be different, based on the circumstance and the content being played. More speakers may be needed in one situation and less in another. To create these different listening experiences, the speakers will all need to be reconfigured at once. With the introduction of the Multiple Layout feature, this is now possible. The default Main Layout is used to create the first 32 speakers use case, with the option of adding up to five additional speaker layouts. Each layout can have its own Audio Profile, including automated calibration with Dirac Live. Users can activate the desired listening experience using Audio Presets associated with specific Audio Profiles, offering flexibility and improved user satisfaction.
Listening presets : Creating high-channel-count home cinemas with optimized speaker performance is made easy with the ISP range of processors. After a system has been calibrated—either manually or automatically with Dirac ART—an Audio Profile is defined, combining all adjustments. Different content types may require specific target curves, leading to the need for multiple Audio Profiles. Listening Presets link a room (Theater), an Audio Profile, optional Preferred Upmix, and Trigger automation. These Presets are then easily accessible in Remote Controls, allowing users to activate and experience optimal performance based on their preferences.
MULTI-ZONE
To provide our users with the best options, we designed our processors and receivers so they can be used in several rooms, at the same time or not. We offer the freedom to allocate available outputs across various cinemas and 2-channel rooms. By employing a leap of design logic, each output can serve multiple purposes within the StormAudio system. It can function as a cinema speaker, act as an active crossover element for up to 4-way configurations, or be utilized to feed audio to another designated area or zone.
For instance, with a 24-channel processor, you have the flexibility to create a 7.2.4 home cinema setup with 3-way active crossovers for the LCR speakers, using three outputs for each speaker. Moreover, you can leverage the remaining five outputs to manage two stereo zones and one mono zone, along with an additional stereo zone through the Zone 2 output. Each of these zones can be finely calibrated either manually or by using Dirac Live to achieve optimal performance.
CONTROL
Our cinema systems are designed with a commitment to providing a seamless and enjoyable experience for end customers, and this extends to our comprehensive and reliable control options.
Users can effortlessly enhance their cinema experience through our mobile and tablet applications, compatible with both iOS and Android platforms. For those who prefer a more integrated approach, our TCP/IP based control API ensures complete and straightforward control. The flexibility of our systems is further demonstrated through compatibility with popular control system integrations, including Nice (former Elan), Control 4, Crestron, Crestron Home, RTI, URC and Savant.
Additionally, for those who appreciate the tactile feel of a traditional remote, an accompanying infrared (IR) remote control handset is also available. With these diverse control options, we strive to cater to the varied preferences of our customers, ensuring that they can effortlessly tailor their cinema experience to suit their individual needs.
