From the interior design details to the most high performing equipment, every element has been carefully considered in the design and construction of a cinema entertainment room for this family in Hampshire, UK.

The look

To create a luxurious but inviting space, the seating is upholstered with leather sourced from the same tannery that supplies to Aston Martin. The walls are lined with custom acoustical fabric that is functional and stylish.

This room originally had a window, but to create a room with perfect acoustical and lighting conditions, the window had to be blocked out. This is easy enough to achieve, but Cyberhomes went further and suggested that a ‘false window’ could be installed, complete with double-glazing, a motorized Lutron blind and LED lighting to maintain the aesthetic integrity of the exterior of the building.

The sound

In such a beautifully designed room, the technical equipment must also be top of the line to match. A StormAudio ISP MK1 3D.16 Elite processor and fifteen speakers from James Loudspeaker were chosen here for an impressive Dolby Atmos immersive experience.

To ensure that the cinema can be fully enjoyed with no limitations, the room was designed to be acoustically isolated from the rest of the house, so a late-night action movie won’t disturb anyone else in the house!

The picture quality

A 4K 3-chip DLP projector from Digital Projection, an acoustically transparent screen from Screen Research and high-quality content delivered via Kaleidescape is the system behind the superb picture quality, all topped off with a motorised side masking used to frame the video according to the source aspect ratio.

Perfect entertainment is experienced in this cinema every time, no matter what content or media is being played.
