Exploring the possibilities with StormAudio’sFlexible calibration

Criterio, our dealer in Argentina was hired by a customer to build a high-end home cinema for his new luxury house. The room designated for the cinema was challenging because of its dimensions at 8 m x 8.80 m x 3.3m.

A thorough acoustic treatment

The acoustic preparations included soundproofing with a variety of special products with anti-vibrations on both the walls and ceiling. Damers were also used as filters for low frequencies.

A fantastic, unbelievable result

Once this was completed, 26 M&K speakers were installed for the Auro 13.1 system. After a quick installation and configuration of the ISP, the dealer listened to the effect of the whole system before running Dirac. After running the Dirac calibration, the dealer and the customer were both impressed, ‘the result was fantastic, unbelievable!’

Playing with mutual calibration adjustments

Our dealer knew that in addition to Dirac’s automatic calibration system, the ISP includes flexible manual calibration adjustments, they decided to add an additional profile but with manual calibrations, and the result was equally impressive!
